If you are planning to do a Pin Up photo shoot, there are several factors to consider:
- The hair style
- The makeup
- The shoes, and
- The clothing
Hairstyles. The 50s had several different hairstyles. Most common is the rolled bangs. In fact, if you curl the rest of your hair and just roll your bangs under or up in two big pin curls, you are done. Or, even simpler, if you have long dark hair with bangs, just roll your bangs under and curl the ends. Here are samples:
Here is a photo of Christina Aguilera with a fabulous 50s up-do. Pin curls were very popular in the 50s. Makeup. To accomplish the 50s makeup, all you need is heavy eyeliner, falsh eyelashes, and ruby red lipstick as in the photos above.
