Yesterday we had a really fun boudoir session. Two girls from south Florida loved my images so much, they drove 2 hours so I could do their photo session. They purchased my Girlfriend package which is a lot of fun with all of us working together. They both got their hair and makeup done by my most requested makeup artist, Bella. 2013 Valentine Tease

We had the best photo shoot last Friday. My client wanted a different outfit for each page in her book and we actually got it all done in an hour! It took some planning beforehand, which is the key. I spend the extra time with my clients so we can get the most out of their camera time.

Unfortunately, this session is for a Valentine’s Day gift, so I can’t show everthing until after so as not to spoil her surprise. However, here’s a sneak peek:

Classic Hollywood Glamour Photo Shoot

We had a client who just wanted a couple of Classic “Old Hollywood” 40s style glamour photos for her husband. She came to the right place, because we LOVE doing vintage photos. She purchased our one image calendar package which includes hair and makeup and instead of getting the calendar, we gave her the choice of (2) 5X7s or one 8X10 of one pose. Of course, she liked more than one pose which she can purchase as individual shots. Here are the best three photos from her 15 minute shoot. She is wearing our mermaid dress, shoes, gloves and used our props. Her hair and makeup were inspired by the 1940s actress, Veronica Lake and are the work of Yvette Hernandez.

Classic Hollywood Glamour

Remember the photos of Hollywood starlets back in the old days? Not necessarily as far back as silent films, but when the photos were black & white, the starlet sometimes gazed away from the camera, and the soft lighting made them look so glamorous? Or the starlet was wearing a beautiful long gown with a matching robe (known as peignoirs). Wouldn’t you love to look like that? You can if you book a photo session with Foto Flix Photography.

You can either book a glamour only session or we can do 2-3 glamour shots in your boudoir session. Our makeup artist will do your hair and makeup and our photographer will set the stage for your shoot. Hair and makeup can be current styles – no need for a special hairstyle. All our makeup artists provide false eyelashes — a MUST for glamour. Not only do they make you look glamorous, but they will also make you feel glamorous! The Hollywood glamour style is mostly about the lighting and the posing which is your photographer’s job to create. We have a few items you can wear, such as gloves, lots of bling (jewelry), a chifon robe, shoes, furs, hats and boas. You are welcome to bring something like a black, red, navy… any dark color lingerie gown (color won’t matter with black & white images) or even an evening dress and wear our bling & furs for the final touches. Bachelorette and Girl’s Night Out Boudoir Photo Parties

We have added mini boudoir parties to our repertoire. These 3-6 hour parties will be “just for fun” and will introduce you and 3 to 9 of your girlfriends to boudoir. They are more affordable than our full parties and are fashioned for the Lady of Honor (Bride or Birthday Girl). Everyone receives a makeover and a slideshow with music of the party on DVD. The Lady of Honor receives a 30 minute private photo shoot and the rest of the girls share the remaining 30 minutes for 2-3 individual poses. BEST OF ALL – you get to view your photos ON THE SAME DAY! And . . . we host your party at our studio which will save you LOTS of money! No expensive hotel, unless, of course, that is what you prefer. If you need more or less time, we will customize your party to your needs. Other options include:
