How to Achieve a Sexy Facial Expression

If you practice your facial expressions in front of a mirror, you will get the most out of your photo session.  It sounds crazy, but sometimes clients think their expression looks sexy when in reality, they only look sad or angry.  Practicing beforehand will help you get more shots you will love.  Let’s face it . . . Photoshop can’t fix an undesirable expression.

If you are limited on time and you are doing this as a surprise for your honey, a good time to practice is anytime you are in the bathroom… assuming your significant other doesn’t go to the bathroom with you ;-).  Try mimicking the models’ looks in a Victoria Secret’s catalog.  Just a few minutes several times before your shoot will make all the difference. If you can’t find your look on your own, we can help you find your sexy look during your consultation . . . another reason why a consultation is so important.

Below are several photos of previous clients who found their “sexy look.”  To achieve the look in the photos below, make your mouth a straight line (without frowning), and let your bottom lip fall open slightly (let your jaw drop).

In the next two photos, a closed-mouth, slight smile makes a demure, sexy look:

And finally, a small open-mouth smile says, “Come and get me, Handsome.”
