I recently came across a blog article from a photographer in the Bay Area who hit the nail on the head about factors you should consider when hiring a boudoir or pin up photographer. The only thing I would elaborate on is the comment she made about the studio vs. a home-based studio. At Foto Flix Photography, the studio is in my home, however, we have a private area for the client to change clothes. Most of my clients feel so comfortable with me that they eventually change in the studio to save time so they can get as many poses/shots in as possible. Being a female photographer has a lot to do with it, but, so far, I seem to make a special connection with them. We both have the same goal: to get as many great shots as possible!
